The Princess and the Pirate END
Two weeks later,
Anna woke up with Jedidiah staring at her with love in his eyes. It took some
convincing on his part to let her father allow her to return with him. But in
the end, her father agreed. And being a man to his words, Jedidiah paid off her
father’s debt. She left with Jedidiah a few days later and returned to a
glowing Petra who was bearing good news of her own; Hank was going to be a
father. The house sang with goodness and happiness for two days straight and it
left everyone in a great mood.
Being
back at home, in his arms, she realized how much she truly loved him. Every
part of her knew that without him, she’d cease to live. Now, Anna, almost three
months pregnant, was slightly starting to swell in her belly, and Jedidiah
loved every inch of it.
“You’re staring,” Anna said
blushing.
“I know.”
“Stop it.”
“I can’t,” he said with a grin. “I’m
too much in love.”
“What shall we name him?”
He raised an eyebrow. “Him?”
“My hopes are showing.”
He snuggled in closer to her. “I
think we should wait to see who he takes after. If he looks like me, he’ll need
a good strong name. If he looks anything like you, I’d have a lot of trouble.”
Anna gasped. “Trouble? What the
devil does that mean?”
He smiled. “He’ll have the ladies
flocking after him.”
“I hope he won’t have his father’s
stubbornness when it comes to love.”
Jedidiah kissed her shoulder. “If he
does, I’ll whip him silly.”
Anna smiled as she met his kiss. She
couldn’t have dreamed of a better ending. The best thing in her life had been
when she was kidnapped by the pirate Jedidiah. For he brought to her life, an
adventure and love that she never thought of.
